IT Help Desk

This is an entry-level support position with the IT Department. Under general supervision, the IT Helpdesk supports Information Technology Department by providing first contact help desk assistance to Sunset Health users. IT Helpdesk is responsible for handling IT helpdesk support line and for processing helpdesk tickets. In addition, IT Helpdesk documents incident highlights, establishes remote support sessions, distributes work tickets to IT Technicians and/or Application Specialists for specialized support, and assists IT Management as needed. IT Helpdesk will support Technology Department in the processing of departmental data, IT assets, forms, etc. In addition, IT Helpdesk will assist EHR Manager in the design of schedules, training materials, and will provide support during training sessions.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to obtain a fingerprint clearance card. If not already obtained, Fingerprint Clearance card application must be submitted within 5 business days of employment.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check and a health and drug screen.
  • 1-2 years’ experience working in healthcare setting or providing IT support, or combination of clinical, clerical or IT support experience.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is helpful.
